HOW TO GET THE MOST ACCURATE QUOTEFile preparation guide
- 1Draw at full size
Export at 1:1 scale and embed inches or millimetres whenever possible.
- 2Prepare clean outlines
Join through-cut paths into closed polylines, remove duplicates and explode blocks.
- 3Name operation layers
Use CUT for profiles, ENGRAVE for line engraving and DRILL or HOLES for drilling circles.
- 4Confirm the detected size
Check units, finished width and height before relying on the estimate.
- 5Choose material and operation
Select through cutting, engraving or custom work, then choose material and thickness.
- 6Nest the required quantity
Enter the number of copies and click Nest parts. The system keeps 1″ between copies and updates the sheet count.
